My duties included cleanplating foreground objects from the background to eliminate stereo artifacts created by the depth process. The work involved paint, rotoscoping and keying to separate objects into layers and putting them back together as well as manipulating the depth map to produce the final result seen in the movie.

I created and QC composite scripts so that they can be used in a 2d to 3d pipeline. This includes baking larger element files, keying, cleanplating, color correcting and streamlining comps while maintaining the appearance of a shot from a vendor to client approved work. In many cases I would have to rebuild layers of an effect so other artists would be able to manipulate them unaccompanied in 3d.

I worked all the major aspects of a 3d project from creation of the model, texture, rig, lighting and final composite. Here the engineering side of 3d is very important as the films I create have to meet the exact measurement and criteria of evidence gathered in a crime scene. A close attention to detail is very important because my work is considered as evidence and subject to close scrutiny in a court of law.

At the University of Central Florida, I studied a several subjects before deciding to persure the arts. I specialized in fine art photography and received high marks for my work. I still practice my art to this day.
